We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer/Producer to be a part of the team that delivers outstanding experiences for our clients events. We create world-ready visual content for events that align to strategic messaging and corporate brand guidelines. In this role you will be a part of a team of design/communication professionals, creating impactful design experiences with a focus on large format design and signage for events.

This role comprises a mix of design management and creative implementation skills, along with a passion for technology and events. You will be responsible for creating best-in-class visual storytelling solutions for events and continuously drive design projects through to successful completion. As a trusted thought leader in large format design and communications, you will be responsible for navigating a complete realm of storytelling processes and requirements to create stunning and impactful moments for their customers, partners and employees.

Responsibilities
• Act as the primary large format designer and point of contact for a team of event designers, focusing on thought leadership that translates into the implementation of visual narrative solutions, storyboarding concepts, and engaging necessary resources to complete signage and other design projects, ensuring a constancy in quality and impact.
• Develop large format deliverables for events, either directly or by directing the work of agencies or other designers. Deliverables will focus primarily on event signage.
• Communicate and drive design solutions for event assets that not only follow the varied brand compliance guidelines, but also adhere to the intent and messaging framework set forth by the Brand team, Experience Design team, or creative production vendors with stakeholder responsibilities to event brand and messaging.
• Engage with a diverse ecosystem of design and communication vendors to create visual storytelling and graphic design solutions related to executive presentations that meet the high standards of visual design our executives and events require, and act as primary point of contact for vendors for resolution of roadblocks and the creation of storyboard/wire frames.
• Ensure design teams are utilizing the latest design best practices and processes, communicating any updates to key stakeholders and vendors that may affect future workstreams.
• Demonstrate a strong fundamental knowledge base in the visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, composition, color, layout, etc.) and creation of a variety of visual mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, and visual guidelines.
• Effectively manage and assign priorities and workloads, determining deadlines and forecasting additional staffing needs for executive support or high impact periods of activity.
• Build visual narratives and concepts that tell the story while adhering to the event strategy goals to ensure success, collaborating closely with other art directors and designers, producers, content teams, and executive management to achieve.
• Impart critical feedback to and guidance on specific projects completed by vendors providing support to this role and the assigned executive’s presentations, during both the pre-event development process, as well after the event is complete.
• Ensure all content for events are properly archived for future reference.
• Support may include travel to events that may include international travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• The candidate will have 3+ years large format design experience (preferably in a fast-paced agency environment) driving marketing products for print and digital deployment in all marketing channels.
• Design portfolio with both print and digital design. (Event design is a plus.)
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products, (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge & Outlook) as well as Adobe Creative Cloud products (Acrobat, Photoshop, In Design, Premier, Illustrator) is necessary for this position.
• Organizational skills are essential to succeeding in this role while managing critical assets and assistance with 1st and 3rd party asset approvals. The candidate must be a self-starter, master multi-tasker, a great communicator, and a proactive planner to succeed.
• The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment via exceptional time management skills is critical.
• It will be necessary for the candidate to be able to facilitate solutions to process breakdowns and prevent repetitive issues from reoccurring project to project.
• The ability to deal with ambiguous situations and conditions, and an ongoing need to identify, assess, and solve problems quickly and frequently is a must.
• Strong interpersonal communication and cross-team collaboration skills with the proven ability to work with and build win-win relationships with creative teams (e.g., graphic and video production artists), technical teams (e.g., developers), and non-technical teams (e.g., PR and Marketing) alike is necessary. When conflicts occur, you bring people together, with careful listening, mitigation, and resolution skills.
• A high level of enthusiasm, ingenuity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and drive for results.
• All candidates must have a positive and team-oriented attitude to contribute effectively.
• Strong preference for candidates with creative project management experience (preferably in a fast-paced agency environment) driving marketing products for print and digital deployment in all marketing channels.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $40 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
