Entry Level - Data Coordination and Video Editing
Location, City: Boston, MA (NORTH END)
Job Terms: Talent Bridge/Temp-to-Perm
Salary: Commensurate - Contract to Hire
Start date: 11/16/2009
Consider Relocation: No
Job Number: 49757
This is an entry level role for our client in Boston. Ideal talent will have a degree or background in math.
The data analyst will be a detail oriented analyst working in Excel crunching numbers for statistics. It is an entry level position for someone to help prepare data for analysis. You can think of it as a data organizer or data coordinator.
The most important quality is attention to detail. Appropriate talent should be self-starters who can take the initiative to complete tasks on their own but who are not afraid to ask questions if they don’t know how to complete a task.
Data Analyst:
• Import and export data files from biometric data and eye tracking data
• Search through data files in order to calculate exact start times for each participant (Precision and accuracy is key. A mistake in the start time will result in analyzing the data incorrectly.)
• Assist in preparing eye tracking data for analysis
• Assist in creating content for testing (some exposure to basic video editing, photoshop, html or website creation is a plus. Not required, but they should be open to learning.)
• Content timing. (Again, precision is key. They use Premier to get the exact timing down to the frame for all target content.)
• Assist Analytics Manager and Project Manager in day-to-day tasks
